Re-Aligned as the name suggests is an art exhibit which explored the creativity, thought process, approach and interpretations in architecture; was put up by ICAD students and professors. The annual exhibition of ICAD held for the first time from 17th Feb-20thFeb 2020; was inaugurated by Ar. Sunil Patil, a renowned architect practicing contemporary architecture. The ceremony was graced with the presence of Dr.Tarita Shankar, Prof.Chetan Wakalkar and our Principal Ar.Swapnil Sheth with a traditional Dhol-Tasha welcomeperformed by students of ICAD.
Based on the theme of our annual event Spandan’20: ‘Order and Chaos’, the exhibit studio was imaginatively divided into four display quadrants, where each quadrant expressed creatively their interpretation of the theme. Theexhibition studio was adorned with portfolios & hand-done models of different subjects handled over the 5 years of architecture course by the students, sketches& paintings andtheme-based stables& mobiles. Every quadrant took one through a completely different magical experience altogether! An interactive session with the chief guest Ar.Sunil Patil helped students understand his philosophy towards architectural design and artistic perspective.
