Bus Facility:

Bus Transport facility is available to all employees and all major destinations in Pune city and adjoining areas. Routes are designed to pick-up and drop off the students and faculty members.

Hostel Facility:

Accommodation for students available on first come first served basis.
Hostels are a home away from home. We at ICEM provide you a decent stay and the best possible learning environment. Accordingly effort is made to make living in a hostel a comfortable and memorable experience. Many Students consider quality of life as one of the important factors while choosing a College.

The stay at campus would certainly provide a wealth of experience by developing qualities such as comradeship and social responsibility. We encourage the habit of community living and sharing. We provide services to the students from almost all corners of India.

The Hostels are managed centrally under Shree Chanakya Education Society.There is a separate Boys and Girls hostel with common canteen and Gymnasium. Each hostel is supervised by a warden who resides in the hostel.

Students staying at ICEM hostels are provided with Indian food vegetarian and Non vegetarian. It is compulsory for hostellers to take their meals in the Mess. One menu for each meal is served in buffet. Student’s canteen committee decides the menu and monitors the quality of food served by the canteen service provider.

Life on-campus helps the students not only to study but also to socialize with the peers. Friendship formed in the campus lasts a lifetime. ICEM provides a comfortable and safe housing to all its students. The students housed in the campus are encouraged to use the gymnasium, playground and all indoor gaming facilities. The institution has provided recreation facilities like TV, indoor games such as carom, chess, and Table Tennis. The hostel has a well-equipped gymnasium. The entire hostel is covered with Wi-Fi facility. Generator Backup is provided in case of electricity supply failure. Periodic visit to Pune city is organized on Sundays or Holidays for shopping and entertainment.

The boy’s hostel has a capacity of 198 students and Girls hostel has capacity of 72 students. Total hostel accommodation is available to 270 students.

The hostel accommodation is on sharing basis. Three students are accommodated in each room. The rooms are spacious and each student is provided with a cot, cupboard, study table and chair. Washing Machines are provided for students to use for their laundry. Water cooler with water filter is provided for drinking water on each floor.

Dedicated workers are deployed to clean toilets, rooms and common spaces daily. Hostellers are expected to co-operate with the management in keeping hostel and surrounding landscape garden clean and beautiful.

For students residing in the hostel medical insurance is mandatory it is done centrally as a group insurance, through National Insurance Co. Ltd, a Govt. insurance agency. Classrooms and Studios:  Classrooms are well equipped with audio-visual facilities. Studios are provided with good light and ventilation, drafting tables and storage.

Library:

Good library books available. It presently contains more than 500 books, journals, magazines related to Architecture and will grow in the future.

Access to e-library for students and faculty. Related to Academics, Documentaries in Architecture, Research Papers, and e-books in design, Planning, Landscape, and Heritage – Conservation etc.

As well as one can browse parent library through web – EBSCO (Online Research Database) & OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) within Indira college campus.

Workshops:

Workshops for model-making & carpentry co-related with other subjects to give practical knowledge to students and give opportunity to explore their talents and imagination.

Computer Center:

Computer Centre is well equipped with software and hardware of latest configuration.

Open Air Theatre/Art Court:

At ICAD the open Art court adds as an additional advantage to conduct guest lectures / interactive session with students / an exhibition to showcase the talents of students.

Construction Yard / Modelling Lab:

Students are encouraged to have workshop sessions to construct and build, to gain practical knowledge and thus gain onsite learning exposure.
